YOU AND EVERY MEMBER OF YOUR PARTY IS COVERED BY OUR SPECIAL HOLIDAY INSURANCE unless you say 'NO' on your booking form indicating that you do not require it. This cover has been specially put together with AXA Insurance and Lloyd's to suit your needs.
1.Personal Luggage: Your Baggage, including pedal cycles and household items needed on holiday, is covered if it is lost, stolen or damaged.
Level of cover: Up to £1250 per person; Up to £250 any single article; Up to £250 in total for all valuables.
Main exclusions: The first £20 of each claim; Unattended baggage unless left in locked holiday accommodation or the locked boot or locked glove compartment of a motor vehicle, provided there is evidence of forcible entry.
2.Personal Money: Your personal money is covered if it is lost or stolen.
Level of cover: Up to £500 per person. Up to £250 for cash while on your person.
Main Exclusions: The first £20 of each claim; Unattended money unless left in locked holiday accommodation or deposited in a safety deposit box.
3.Personal Accident: Our insurers will pay the following benefits if one of your party is accidentally injured while on holiday.
Level of cover: £15000 Death (£2000 for children under 16), loss of limb(s) or eye(s) or permanent total disablement.
Main Exclusions: Taking part in certain hazardous activities including racing, rock climbing, pot holing, scuba diving, ballooning, parascending or skiing on snow.
4.Medical and Associated Expenses:
Level of cover: Up to £250 per person for medical expenses reasonably incurred in the UK as a result of injury; Up to £750 per person for additional accommodation or travel expenses following injury or illness of one of your party and conveyance home of the insured persons body in the event of death; Up to £600 hospital benefit, at the rate of £20 per day, if one of your party is an in-patient at a hospital during your holiday.
Main Exclusions: The cost of medicines being used at the start of your holiday; Taking part in certain hazardous activities including racing, rock climbing, pot holing, scuba diving, ballooning, parascending or skiing on snow.
5.Personal Liability: This covers your legal liability for accidental injury to any person or accidental damage to their property.
Level of cover: Up to £2,000,000 per person.
Main Exclusions: The first £100 of damage to your boat or its equipment; Injury or damage suffered by members of your family on holiday with you; Injury of damage caused by your motor vehicle.
Insurers will pay a maximum of £2500 per car for:
EITHER - up to £300 (per car) in respect of labour charges (including recovery to nearest garage) for emergency repairs to enable the journey to be continued.
OR - if your car(s) cannot be repaired within 24 hours
· The cost of recovering and storing your car to the nearest garage or railway station.
· Up to £80 per day (£1000 in all) to hire a similar car to continue your holiday or return home, or the cost of hiring ONE chauffeur in the event of serious illness of the sole available driver in your party up to a maximum of £80 per day and £1000 in all or standard class rail or bus/coach fare to continue your holiday or return home.
· Up to £40 per person per day for any hotel accommodation costs arising as a result of your breakdown.
· The cost of recovering your disabled vehicle home, or an allowance to collect the car after repair.
· The cost of essential telephone calls up to a maximum of £5
· Up to £100 to hire an equivalent car if you still cannot use your car when you have returned home.
Main Exclusions: Breakdown due to lack of petrol, water or frost damage; cost of spare parts.
Vehicles Eligible: At the start of your holiday your vehicle must be in a good road worthy condition and regularly serviced in accordance with the manufacturers recommendation.
Cover is subject to the terms of your Hoseasons Holiday Protection Insurance - details of which will be with your booking confirmation on request. For non-UK residents cover starts on arrival in the UK and ceases when you leave the UK.
